Lowerre Mycobacterial Fellowship
Thanks to the foresight and generous support of the Lowerre family, we are able to offer training in mycobacterial research. This fellowship is targeted to individuals who are interested in specializing in the care and research of mycobacterial infections.

Infectious Disease Rotating Fellowship
The Division of Mycobacterial and Respiratory Infections hosts a visiting Fellow each month. The Fellow works closely with the faculty and staff of the Division, managing patients on the Extended Outpatient Program. This is a unique experience for both Pulmonary and Infectious Diseases Fellows. The Fellow will also have a one-half day clinic per week during the rotation. There is no call required and weekends are off so the Fellows are free to enjoy Denver and the Rockies.
The primary purpose of this rotation is to give the Fellows a focused opportunity to learn key principles of the evaluation and treatment of patients with bronchiectasis, nontuberculous mycobacterial diseases and tuberculosis. Additionally, Fellows will gain competencies in patient care, medical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills, practice-based learning and improvement, professionalism, and systems-based practice.
Interested individuals should contact Rebecca Leyva Hernandez at 303.398.1667 or LeyvaHernandezR@NJHealth.org.
