Michael P. Mohning

Dr. Michael Mohning is a fellowship-trained pulmonologist who treats patients with all types of interstitial lung disease.

Special Interests

Clinical Interests:

My clinical interests are in interstitial lung disease and critical care medicine, specifically acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and septic shock.

Research Interests:

The focus of my research is on mechanisms leading to injury of the lungs, as well as how the lungs can be repaired following injury. Our lab has a particular interest in how macrophages in the lung regulate these processes.
