Lab Resources
Primary human airway epithelial cells: We have collected and banked cells from normal subjects and patients with asthma and COPD. We are able to provide these types of cells:
- Tracheobronchial epithelial cells
- Small (distal) airway epithelial cells
- Bronchial epithelial cells (from brushings)
- Nasal epithelial cells (from brushings)
Transgenic and knockout mice: SPLUNC1, conditional knockout of immunoproteasome.
Human and mouse precision-cut lung slices: We help investigators in lung inflation, tissue cutting using a vibratome, and culture of lung slices.
Tobacco smoke and electronic cigarette smoke exposures in airway epithelial cells and lung slices: We culture human and mouse proximal and distal airway epithelial cells at air-liquid interface and expose them to tobacco smoke and electronic cigarettes.
