Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare lung disease that can be associated with other health conditions including:

  • Chest pain
  • Chronic cough
  • Collapsed lung (pneumothorax)
  • Coughing up blood (hemoptysis)
  • Shortness of breath (dyspnea)
  • Fluid around the lungs (pleural effusion)
  • Fluid in the lung cavity (chylothorax)
  • Kidney tumors
  • Lung cysts
  • Lung transplantation
  • Lymphangioleiomyoma cysts
