Combining the strengths of both entities into an integrated Respiratory Institute brings together leading expertise in diagnosing and treating all forms of respiratory illness and lung disease, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease (ILD) and bronchiectasis.

How Mount Sinai and National Jewish Health Work Together
The Respiratory Institute utilizes the multidisciplinary approach of the National Jewish Health model to create outpatient programs that include pulmonologists and related specialists working side-by-side to provide patient-centered care. The Respiratory Institute also draws on Mount Sinai’s programs in personalized medicine, genomics, and data-driven clinical protocols to enhance the quality and outcomes of the respiratory disease practice.
The physicians at the Mount Sinai – National Jewish Health Respiratory Institute collaborate with physicians at National Jewish Health in Denver.
