Background
I joined the Nakamura lab in February 2024. I spent the previous 10 years developing diagnostics for brain disease while exploring innate immune responses in neurology. I'm excited to apply and expand my experience to researching airway biology, airway epithelial cells, and immunology and microbiology of airway infections. I am happy to be learning every day, and I hope our work can make a difference in saving and improving lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading and spending time outdoors with my family and various pets.
