Healthy People Needed for Sarcoidosis Research

Trial Objectives


Researchers are working to understand the different symptoms of sarcoidosis in an effort to predict how the disease develops over time. Healthy participants are needed to help researchers learn more about healthy cells versus cells that are involved in the development of lung scarring diseases such as sarcoidosis. The goal is to develop new or better treatments.

Who Can Participate


Healthy adults who are willing to participate in a blood draw and, potentially, a bronchoscopy to collect samples.

Age: 18-80 Gender: Any

Time Commitment Details


For those participating in blood draw only, there will be one, 45-minute clinic visit. For those participating in blood draw and a bronchoscopy, there will be two visits. The first visit will last an hour for a physical exam. The second visit will last up to four hours for the bronchoscopy and blood draw.
