Effects of Pregnancy for Cystic Fibrosis Patients

Trial Objectives


A national research study called MAYFLOWERS wants to understand the changes of lung function in pregnant women with cystic fibrosis (CF) during pregnancy and 2 years after delivery. It also looks at the health of their babies. Additionally, if women are taking any Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator (CFTR) modulator, including TRIKAFTA®, the study will look at the effect of modulator on the health of mother and baby.

Who Can Participate


Pregnant women with cystic fibrosis.

Age: 16+ Gender: Any

Estimated Time Commitment


7 to 9 clinic visits

Time Commitment Details


Up to three visits during pregnancy and up to six visits over the two years after delivery.
