Discovering New Ways to Treat Modulator-Ineligible CF

Search Clinical Trials

Trial Objectives

While CFTR modulators have helped many people with cystic fibrosis (CF) manage their symptoms, not every person with CF can benefit from these therapies. Researchers are seeking to study the care of people who are ineligible for CFTR modulators to help improve the development of other treatment options.

In this study, researchers are trying to better understand how different types of CF symptoms impact people so they can help guide the next generation of CF treatments to better help those who are not able to take or do not tolerate CFTR modulators.

Volunteers will undergo spirometry, blood draws, and a multiple breath washout at clinic visits. They also will be asked to complete questionnaires on their symptoms and health, and undergo home spirometry testing for the duration of the study.
