Atopic Dermatitis & Skin Infections

Search Clinical Trials

Trial Objectives

The purpose of this study is to learn more about skin cells and how they regulate the skin barrier. Studies indicate that those with atopic dermatitis and psoriasis may be more susceptible to bacterial infections. Our researchers will use samples from patients with atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and healthy people to examine the differences in their genes. Researchers also will be trying to determine if inflammation effects the function of skin cells.
